In lieu of a tasting note, I'll just relate the brief conversation Anne and I had midway through our first glass.

Dan: "So, any thoughts?"

Anne: "Yes, I've got one word for you: Boat."

Dan: "What do you mean? Like petrol, kinda like what you might get from a riesling?"

Anne: "No, I mean boat as in fishing. There is, like, a dead fish in this wine."

Most of the bottle went down the drain. We just couldn't do it. We paid $7 locally.
