Classic Pinot color and nose. Breite clear ruby with blue and black berries, creamy with nice spice undertone. All hit the palate with harmonious notes that will become more dominate with another 2-5 years of cellating. As good an 03 PN as I've hit so far. Chalk up another winner for the kid from Petaluma. 91/92. 40 on futures. 14.4% alc. WW

Didn't remember opening this so had another yesterday with broiled Copper River salmon. Not much has changed in the last few days. The memory is the 12nd thing to go. WW

Had another with lunch yesterday along with the 03 Fred's Hands posted on earlier. Nose showing more complexity but this is a wine that needs another 1-3 to get all of its' stuff-n-such together. Solid drinking but will definately improve with time. No change in scoring. WW

Ist posting on this so now that AA has made it possible to reach into the archives thot I'd avail meself. Really close now to TTOIG but may have enough soft tannins to develop for another 1-2. Classy juice made by a very classy guy. WW

You certainly do like Dehlinger, eh Verne??

Has made many memorable bottles and since I've bought everything he's made since 1976 I think you may be rite. Along with Fred Scherrer(who learned his craft at Toms side), and Joe Swan's Rod Bergland Joes' son-in-law he has not let his critical sucess spill over on his pricing nor have either of the other 2.WW

Opened this with lunch today. Balanced with everything in order. Nose focused, mouthfeel supple, and killer finish. Close to TTOIG so will kill off the balance of this lovely in the coming months. WW
