Santa Lucia Highlands, CA
14.8% alcohol (one percentage higher than the 2005 vintge)
Dense texture, dark purple color, heavy and weighty fruit bringing to mind brambly fruit and blueberries. Peppery notes.
I'm afraid I come down on Bucko's side on this one. I found it lacking in any finesse or elegance and Pinot typicity. I hope I like my other LWC wines better than this one. I still have another bottle of this.
