Decanted 30 minutes before pouring. Purple color with ruby on the edges. How can I put this diplomatically . . . The nose was evocative of Wisconsin dairyland. If you've ever spent any time near dairy farms, you'll understand the nose of this wine. Getting past that, nice round cherry fruit and good texture and acidity. It was admittedly difficult to get past the nose, however. Paid $17 for it on sale at Whole Foods. Alc. 13.5%.

There you go, knocking that wonderful barnyard aroma.

I'm with you on the nose Dan. When encountering this at the winery and the winemaker glows about complexity I ask if it's intended I drink this in the outhouse. WW
