- wondersofwine - 10-08-2002 13% alcohol selling for over $30 a bottle Nice dark ruby color. Had a small taste at a wine shop and didn't write down any notes. However, impressions were favorable. Fruity and more "ready" than most N-S-G I've previously tried. Apparently was a big hit at a Burgundy tasting in Charlotte, NC. You might look for this one if you are willing to pay in that price range for a nice red burgundy. - Bucko - 10-08-2002 That is the trouble with Burgs, pricy and you have to kiss too many frogs to find a prince. No argument from me that a good one is an experience to remeber though. - winoweenie - 10-09-2002 How fast our fingers forget...and you've criticized my spullin'. WW - Bucko - 10-09-2002 You don't do too bad for a mountain gorilla..... Lose the lipstick though. - wondersofwine - 10-10-2002 Oops. I had the producer's last name wrong. It's Bocquenet, not Bocquehet. |
