- Georgie - 10-12-2005 Hi folks. I'm having a little home decorating party Saturday after next. All girls in attendance. 10:30 am. Light refreshments, including pumpkin dip, crackers and cheese, probably a quiche. I'm thinking Prosecco would be good. Any better ideas? - Kcwhippet - 10-12-2005 A couple mags of Dom? - AlpineOeno - 10-12-2005 prosecco is good, but i might opt for moscato d'asti. It will work well with the food, be a big hit and best of all.........with an average alcohol level of ~5%, your projects will not start to look funny after the first glass. - Thomas - 10-12-2005 How is it possible that I keep agreeing with alpineono??? - winoweenie - 10-12-2005 Your alto-ego? WW - TheEngineer - 10-12-2005 A third for Moscato D'asti! btw, what's wrong with ...umm... alcohol inspired pieces??? - AlpineOeno - 10-12-2005 it's a big world.....i guess there can be two of us with impeccable taste. LOL - AlpineOeno - 10-12-2005 artistically speaking....there's nothing wrong with a little inebriation inspiration As an engineer, i just have to question the resultant structural integrity - Thomas - 10-13-2005 ...especially if the idea is to get something done after imbibing... - TheEngineer - 10-13-2005 Hey HEY!!!! ANOTHER Engineer!! YEAH!! - AlpineOeno - 10-13-2005 we're takin' over!!! - wdonovan - 10-18-2005 A third engineer and a fourth for Moscato di Asti. Just increased car's horsepower to circa 600 and the M / Asti's low alcohol level would make for more favorable morning driving conditions then some other choices (especially those starting with "magnum of"). Afterthought: Just noticed Georgie's location (very close to mine) and fifth the motion for the 5% lest I get mowed down by departing guests on my quest for a morning paper.
