I would like some help in finding out information about bordeaux wine sales and also about methods used in the marketing of french wines. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Falex, and welcome to the Wine Board. Sorry you haven't received an answer to date, but you have asked a question that is difficult to answer. Bordeaux sales are almost always 100%. This is because the wine is produced on limited acreage, according to exacting standards. Some producers increase the quality and price of their products by selecting the very best grapes for their first line wines, and using the others for second bottlings.

Your problem if you are interested it selling these wines, is gaining regular allocation from the importers selling the wines you are interested in. This will not be easy. As far as marketing Bordeaux is concerned, that was all taken care of a couple of centuries ago.
