I knew that I should have opened this one first. The 1996 P-B came next and in it of itself it is a nice wine but this one was so not 1990. Garnet purple in color (not opaque) but no aging rim either, nose of bright berries, cherries, oak and some minerals. After a while, also some tobacco/coffee aromas. Medium body with a medium long finish. Still a good drink $54.99 per bottle.

Thanks! I had a friend leaving this week and this was our going away dinner. She got to pick whatever she wanted (she was kind to me,......). So bitter sweet but glad to have shared a good bottle with a good friend cuz that's what wine is for.
