Hi Ms Quirtle, and welcome to the Wine Board. For the main dish recommend Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cerasuolo. It is perhaps the deepest, fullest rose' in the world. Full of flavor. The color is actually darker than many pinot noirs we've enjoyed. For dessert go with any of many muscat based dessert wines.
