Deep dark in color, looked and smelled a bit over extracted but I think time has mellowed this one out a little. Still rather tannic with a ripe core of dark fruits, sliglty spicey, cedary, medium plus body but not thick, a bit of austerity in the mid palate but okay. I'm not sure this one everyone's cup of tea as it is a big modern Bordeaux but it was at least well made. I for one liked it with my simple steak dinner.
