- winoweenie - 06-02-2003 The tastiest La Lagune since the 82 IMHO. Medium deep ruby with the berry, earthy, cigat-box nose most HMs posses. Lovely entry, a solid center and a long 4+-lapper finish. Still a ton of velvety tannins to resolve but should evolve into a killer bottle. 91/92. 25 by the box en premieur. Leaving for San Diego Sunday.(108..109..109..108..107..109.this last weeks temps). WW - Georgie - 06-03-2003 I don't know how you can stand it. We're enjoying 70-75 here today, but with more rain forcasted. - Innkeeper - 06-03-2003 We had an interesting cartoon in the Bangor Daily News the other day. It showed a guy looking at the day by day weather forcast in the newspaper, which showed rain every day for two weeks. Under the forcast ran this headline: Drought Continues! - winoweenie - 12-03-2010 Opened another for lunch yesterday. This is one tasty bugger! The aromatics have really evolved and with the addition of some sweet cinnamon expands the the taste profile greatly. A really nice drink that has almost resolved the tannins. Give it another 1-2 and "Anchors Aweigh". WW [This message has been edited by winoweenie (edited 12-03-2010).] |
