I would like to find out more information about a bordeaux I experienced recently.
1999 Cahteau La Grange Clinet
I don't drink many bordeauxs, because my experience with them has been limited.
Would love to learn more about this particular wine.

CHATEAU LA GRANGE CLINET
This is a lovely and simple red wine coming from the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux. It's owned by Michael Haury, who replanted the vineyard in the early 1980s with the help of the famous consultant, Professor Emile Peynaud.

The resulting wine is not made in a blockbuster style, but then at $8.99, it doesn't carry a blockbuster price. The vineyard is about half Merlot, a third Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Cabernet Franc. The wine is vinified in a softer, more drinkable style.

1999 Chateau La Grange ClinetA savory blend of roughly 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and10% Cabernet Franc. This is elegant Bordeaux with a nose of new woodand black fruits enhanced by a gingerbread-like nuance. The wine is medium bodied and shows nice balance.

Just a little info I dug up. No direct experience with the wine.
