I've been working sooooooo hard lately ..... okay needed medium nice bottle.

Don't open much with Lafite in the name often. Nice pencil lead nose with solid oak, red and black fruits, and a hint of meat(?) and same of the palate but with a good dose of acidity and nice tannins (not super smooth). Definitely more "classically" structured(?) ie med body but only a medium finish which was disappointing. I had expected a little bit more but overall a nice bottle.

We've found that secondly bottlings of the big guys take at least half the time if not more than the big brothers' to open. Since this one is approaching five years it should be close, but obviously needs more.
