Anyone interested in a list can email me at rfaille1@attbi.com - Bucko - 06-23-2003 75 is long dead: Winery: Château Lafite Rothschild Wine: Pauillac 1975 Score: 71 Price: $144 Country: France Region: Bordeaux Issue: Nov 30, 1991, WS A pungent-smelling wine, with vegetal flavors and very little appeal. Could be corky. Another bottle was better, but overripe in character.--Lafite Rothschild vertical. The 96 is a good one: Winery: Château Lafite Rothschild Wine: Pauillac 1996 Score: 96 Cellar Selection Price: $207 Country: France Region: Bordeaux Issue: Jan 31, 1999, WS Impressively dark in color, with mineral, mint and black currant aromas that hint also of spices and cedar. Full-bodied, with very firm tannins and a silky texture, this top Bordeaux goes on and on on the palate. One of the most solid Lafites in recent history. Best after 2002.
