I'm serving heavy hors d'oeuvres (antipasto and several types of bruschette, cheese and fruit) for a book party. What moderately priced Italian (or other) wines might I pair with the food? I'd like to have a couple reds and a couple whites.

Try Montepulciano d"Abruzzo and Morellino for reds; Gavi and Soave for whites.

None should be expensive.
