So this is part deux of the grand wine tasting last weekend in Aspen...
Opened the 04 Batard Montrachet. phenominal bouquet of tropical flowers. Strong incline yielding honeysuckle, and super citrus and apple. Drink it slowly as it improves in 15-20 minutes and morphs to reveal pineapple and tropical fruits. This wine is 96-98 and is really a treat.
