- RAD - 03-31-2002 This is the first wine we're having with Easter Dinner, as a complement to my wife's salmon roullade appetizer. Clear brilliant yellow. Fig, lemon, and light toasted oak notes continue on the palate, where they're met by mineral elements, a slightly viscous mouthfeel, snappy acidity, and a long, clean finish. Elegance and balance--far from an overoaked California diacetyl bomb. About $38 here in NYC. 92/90. |
