My husband and I recieved a bottle of 1982 Puligny-Montracet, Jaboulet-Vercherre when we were married.
(Appellation Controlee)
I know nothing about this wine and not sure if we should celbrate our 20th with it, keep it, or dump it. Anyone care to offer some advice to a wine rookie?

Chances are it's the Chardonnay, since there's very little Pinot Noir planted there. The 1982 vintage wasn't all that great to begin with, and 21 years old - I wouldn't hold out much hope for the wine. Go ahead and open it because there's always that slim chance it may have survived the years. However, have another wine ready in case this one didn't make it.
