Pale gold color. Minerals not as prominent as in some Chablis. Refreshing tartness. Having enjoyed a glass of this at a Baltimore restaurant, I was initially disappointed when I opened a bottle at home and I thought it might be in a closed-down phase. It seemed to improve on the third and final day after opening!
I had it with several meals including canned broccoli cheese soup and a salad (after work and a book discussion meeting), ham and cheese omelette as a brunch, and pasta carbonara.
