Anybody have any T.N.'s on 96 Mayacamas, a local shop got in a six pack of the cab and the Pinot Noir the other day, I grabbed 2 of each on the spot but was wondering about more while it's there.

Hi SM. I make it a rule to never open a Mayacamus Cab until after its' 7th birthday. The 96 is a rugged piece of work that needs at least 10 'afore poppin'. Bob Travers has made some of my most memorable drinking experiences. WW

Thanks WW. Since the price is right ($42) I think I'm going to try to get a couple more. I thought about trying a bottle, but the wines reputation has kept me from from getting too curious, why waste it?

Too Smartz there Stealth-Baby. Don't commit infanticide. WW

Drew,

Have you opened that '95 yet? I'm opening one tonight. If you haven't, I'll take some notes and post on it. Well, either way, I'll post on it.

If anyone else has opened one, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
