This is a very fruity one, intense flavors of cassis, cherry and blackberry. Very balanced, just a mere hint of vanilla and oak. I think this is the best cab I have tasted in quite a while. 14% alcohol, $19. 93 BK points.

I really liked this one. Has no one else here ever tried it?

I have tried both this one and the Sonoma valley one. I do like this as it is soft and approachable, but for a few bucks less, the Sonoma is also not bad. This is available only at Albertson's I think (their private label).

I've never heard of this... Is the vineyard just called "Q"? I'll try to google......

Edit: OK, I'm getting nowhere. I've seen the wine on a couple restaurant wine lists but really no other info.......

Yes, I got it at the albertson's wine and beer store that is next to the main grocery store. It's odd, because they also sell wine and beer in the main store, but the selection is lower-end.

Yes, Brapster, it's just called "Q"!

I will try the Sonoma next. They also make merlot.

I'll see if I can find these here in MD. Thanks...
