Santa Cruz Mountains. A rare treat for us. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 3% Cab Franc. Opaque black/purple. Black plum, dark chocolate and port like aromas. Like flavors with rich, concentrated lush plum and blackberry, creme brulee, dark chocolate and red berry notes. Wonderfully complex and rich with a very long finish. Very youthfull looking for an 8 year old wine and no signs of aging. Served with 2" Delmonico steaks, garlic mashers and salad. Very wonderful and a 4+ lapper. $35 and no alcohol % listed on the bottle.

A really solid producer whose wines have been a staple in my cellar since the marvelous 78. Will open a 97 this week and report. WW
