Picked this up last week and she gave me an excuse to try it tonight by demanding oak-grilled filets (from Omaha Steaks, courtesy of SIL's mom), with steamed cauliflower and peas smothered in melted cheese. I know nothing about the producer but the label says "cellared and bottled by Twenty Rows Napa California".... sounds like a negociant-style role. Nice cab for the bucks, with true varietal character, but a tad young.... suspect it could use 2-3 in bottle. Yet given the steaks, which were small, lean and very tender, it was a good match.

Sure do miss our own beef. If the price would just come down, I could justify slaughtering one for the home front (if that's not a dumb concept, I don't know of one).
