My second encounter with this winery and sure as the Debbil not my last. Had their 97 in a restaurant in San Francisco last year and was lucky enuf' to score a few bottles with the help of a lovely friend. Without a glimmer of a doubt the best 98 from enny-wheres in the whole put-together I've had. A deep ruby with sparklets of red. The nose takes only a minute to start forming and filling the senses. Sweet fruit, spices, cassis, and more red fruits take over. Entry is like Barb Stanwick, polished, pretty, and pure poetry. Nice weight on the mid-palate and a full 4-1/2 lapper finish. Still lots of tannins but they're so round and smooth they're unnoticable. Keep your Leonetti there Buck-snort, this is my Washington winery of choice. Fab Juice. 93/92. WW

winoweenie!
Thanks for the nice notes! Have managed to purchase a couple of bottles from the Wine Library, but now they are out too. Visited the production facilities last week and they would only cough up (3)bottles. People have asked me if there is a back-up somewhere to this wine. I guess I really do not know what to say! Is there someone else who has this fruit?
