Nose is perhaps a bit reserved, almost rentiscent, but it gives an impression of the structure and the seriousness of this wine. Wine is ripe, dense, dark and red fruits, smooth but it has a slight earthiness to it, not yet all together, and in a few years will be a pretty good drink

I've enjoyed some Sequoia Grove C.S. in the past and find them more reasonably priced than some of their competitors.

i agree on the price front. For what they charge, they are rather competitive with those in the 1.5X to 2X range and that is why I like them [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]....though those hand painted large format bottles are really pricy
