A true reserve from this value winery. Dark in the glass with deeply perfumed black fruit and cassis. Like flavors with a deep core of bitter chocolate and cocoa nuances. Fully resolved tannins and a long finish put this at the top of it's game. Was highly rec. some time ago by my wine guy. 13.5% Alc/vol. $15 but drinks like a more expensive bottling. Label sez it was aged in small American and French oak barrels for 24 months then 12 additional months in the bottle before release. Reporting from Ocean City, Maryland...it's power washing and boat putting in time .
