Had the Napanook at the club Thurs and can assure any of you terrior doubters there really be terrior stuff. This marvelous ex-Daniels property churns out delicious juice no matter who do the grape-stompin'. Fresh and focused this is a killer example of aged Napa juice. At first last nite when I opened the Carmy I was puzzeled by rhe aroma. Grapey, meaty, sweety,(not sweaty IK), and some leather came thru. SDeemed like it was really trying to touch all the bases without actually running them. However it all cleared up with the 1st taste as the black currents, plum and cocoa coat the palate. The finish comes up slighty short or this would hit the outstanding button. Still a nice bottle but not sure it is a value at the 46 per clatter number. 13.5% alc so give it a 89/86
