- winoweenie - 09-16-2009 In my searce for some solid daily drinkers I think I've found a solid front-runner. This Napa cab from Beckstoffers Vineyard Georges 111 in Rutherford caught my attention last night and forgetting I'd already had my quota for the day I opened this hummer for Din-Din. Brite ruby. Nice aromatics. Red fruits, some spices and a whiff of the dust come thru. Finishes just shy of the 4 lapper. Some soft tannins suggest this has a little more time to gain more complexity. A nice find and a box will come home with me today. 89/90 32 by the box 14.9% alc. WW ( By-the-by PW I forgot to mention this ole' bod is moving about 42% slower this morn but, like you after the D'yquem, it be worth it! ) [This message has been edited by winoweenie (edited 09-16-2009).] - Thomas - 09-16-2009 And the price is? I love how easy it is to forget a quota; it's one of those gifts from Providence. Oops, I just saw the price, cancel my question.
