Medium deep ruby. Nose of red and black fruits with spicy notes accenting the cigar box. All hit the palate with cassis thrown in. Solid entry, weighty center and a 4 lapper finish. Still has some pretty hefty tannins that'll take another 2-4 to shed. 90/90 35 by the box.13.5% alc. WW (This is from grapes grown by Sutter Homes winery on rt. 29 in St. Helena. Named in honor of the founder of Sutter Home)
