Was shocked when I pulled this out of the cellar and found this instead of thew 94 it was supposed to be. Seems like the distributors here in the valley will ship a non-selling vintage and try to get away with it when a highly sought after vintage is ordered. I caught on but too late for this package. I've sent back over 6 cases of 2000s when I ordered the 2001. ASny whoos this was a pleasant surprise. Deep ruby with slight bricking on the rim. A shy nose but after 45 mins in the glass really warmed to the task. Black cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, and earth hit the schnozz and all come over on the palate. Add a touch of vanilla and you have a textbook aged Cab. No tannins. From estate vineyards located 700' above the valley floor east of Rutherford. 91/90 45 by the box. 14% alc. WW
