Had a couple of wines that need posting. The 94 Jack is without a doubt the best Kenwood I've enjoyed to date. It has never been a personal favorite of mine but this vintage made me wish I'd bought more. Deep ruby with concentrated black and red fruit, a dash of vanilla, spice tempered with cassis and a floal nose that had violets and jasmine. Cool entry, a major center palate and a long satisfying finish. 90/91. The Heitz is fully loaded and ready for some serious drinking. Lots of stuffing and all the brite red fruit you could want. The nose and finish do well for the Heitz rep and this beauty will last another 10. 91/89. WW
