Daves's version of the great 95 growing season proves the fruit is the key... Not known as a great cab producer his Dry Creek vineyards have produced many superb SWs' of all the persuasions. This sucker should convince all us skeptics of the ability of the Dry Creek area to produce super Sonoma Cab.I've reported on this several times. Still improving...Should make the outstanding status on the next opening. WW

Opened another of these beauties last nite. Has improved on the aromatics so they now leap from the glass. Medium deep ruby. Cassis, bakers cocoa, spices and a lot of red fruit up-front with some black plums in the back-ground. Smooth entry, solid center and a 4+-lapper finish. Still has another 1-2 till peaksville. Lovely. 91/93. 22 by the box.13.5% alc WW
