HUGE, lush, lovely earthy black fruit is unfortunately overwhelmed by even more massive tannin. A potentially beautiful wine, it finishes harsh, with drying tannins that make your mouth a mini-Sahara. I just don't buy into the old adage that if it has enough fruit, it will outlast the tannins.

Bucko, did you let it breath for an hour or two and then try it again?

It was even worse after four hours -- pure enamel-stripping tannins.

Bucko, Did you see ther post on the 92 in the cab Thread? Found the same, but with the experience I`ve had with Randy`s wines I`ll bet this sucker comes thru. Are you gonna miss the WW? winoweenie
