Completely closed for almost an hour. Then opened to show deep red cherries, red and black plums, sweet spices and a touch of vanilla. Good entry, mid-weight center and a solid 4-lapper finish. Lots of soft tannins still lurking in the background. Needs another 3-5. Superior bottling. 90/94 19 by the box. 13% alc. WW

Decided to revisit this sucker yesterday and it has really shed the baby fat and started putting on muscle. Expansive nose featuring sweet fruits and spices and just the right amount of vanilla. Silky entry, weighty center and the finish is a solid 4&1/2 lapper. Kick this lil' sweetie up to a solid 92/95. WW (The alc is actually 13.5%. Hard for tired ole eyes to read the small gold print!)
