This bad boy has finally decided to get some manners. Dint' even post on the 1st bottle as I knew I killed the baby. The color is dark ruby tinging to purple, nose shows both red and black fruits, cassis, cedar, and bakers cocoa. All comne over on the palate. Solid entry, weighty center and a 4+-lapper finish. Still some unresolved tannins that should take another 1-3. Always a solid product, this carries on the legacy. 91/90. 37 by the box.13.5% alc. WW

I had this about two years ago and it was as you noted plus a bit of a tannic experience, however, still nice as I'm not adverse to tannins.

Had this for lunch. Has evolved into the benchmark Oakville cab. Still could improve over the next 1-2 but's so lush and plush now, I'll rush to finish off this box of beauties. One of the premier winemakers in Calif. Maybe a point up in the scoring. WW

Not too pleased with the product from Groth recently.
