Had this at lunch yesterday after the 98 Burgandy posted below. Deep ruby. Nose of anise,meat, brite cherry, cassis and black fruit. Ont the palate a vanilla note was added with earthiness and the plumminess showing. Still has loads of silky tannins to resolve. Needs another 1-4 to hit peakiness. 91/88. 60 by the box.14% alc.
