Deep ruby. Nice nose of red fruits, pencil-shavings, spices, and the famous Rutherford dust. All come over on the palate along with a note of bakers cocoa. Velvet entry, solid center, and a 4&1/2 lapper finish. A wine with enough structure to peak in about 2-4. A great wine. 90/92. 22 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW

Opened another of these yesterday for lunch. Still truckin'. No change in scoring yet but the nose has more definition than the last bottle. Maybe in another year we can bump this puppy up a notch. WW

The memory's the 2nd thing to go. Can't believe I opened 2 of these suckers just days apart. Had WAY too much fun Sat Nite. WW

Anyone that's fortunate enough to have this booger in the closet IMHO 'tis time fer cork-pullin'. Not on the down-snort yet but definately ATTOIG. Lovely complex nose and has solidified the center feel. As this be the last of the Mohicans let's be generous and kick it up to a 91. WW
