1995 Chauffe-eau Cabernet Sauvignon; Alexander County (CA, US) - $25.00

Deeply rich and bold full body color. New world nose with black cherry, leather, grilled meat, some spice and smoke. On the palate, firmly tannic and well structured with a more than healthy dose of bold Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. Typical of Alexander County. Should improve as the tannins mellow and fall out. A cellar selection I would expect to go 10 years easy.

You are the second person to cluck about this wine. Seems like great QPR at $25.
