Found a bottle of 1994 Voila! Meritage and thot it needed opening. The aroma was remisnisent of my gym shoes in Jr. High. Tho I knew there was no way, I forced myself to take a sip... BIG mistake. Nasty, musty, dusty, crusty liquid that had no relation to the noble grape. UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHH!!!ww

If it smelled so bad, why in the world would you want to give it a taste test??

Just to verify me tired ole' schnozz was still in working order. WW

Hey, KC. You're the one to talk with your funky Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines!

Those 87 Hermitage were tasting just fine - not dead at all. In fact, we had the last one just about a year ago and it was still doing wonderfully.

KC, I remember the one you brought to the offline a couple of years ago. 87 Guigal? Beauty!
