Opened this tonight more out of curiosity than anything else.

It's a pretty solid wine! Deep purple red with no bricking yet though some sediments. Nose of cedar, asian spices and ripe red fruits. On palate much the same with some pepperiness, good high tone acidity and a decent persistence. Cool weather cab that has quite a bit of structure. Tannins are a bit on the harsh side but give a hint of bitterness. Long finish. $25 at then's exchange rate and pretty good at that. Not boring. Foodie, have you travelled up to this winery in the Niagara area?
