I am new to this site and just had my first wine class so i am learning. Do you think that I can get a bottle of the Joel Gott blend 815 in Pittsburgh. I love wine but can't really afford to buy a case at a time, so i need to find it by the bottle.

im sure you can. Just go to the local wine store and ask for it. If they dont have any in stock they can likely order some and you can buy a bottle from them.

Drank a couple of the bottles this past weekend. Very nice cab for the price. Thanks for the tip.

Here's a post I made on the Joel Gott a couple of years back. Was my go to house wine for a solid year. WW

Some of the wood has now been absorbed into the wine and the tannins are still reasonably strong which means I like it even more now. Wine is still solid at the 4 year mark.

Another amazing under 15 buckerrrr! Think I probably have 3-8 as orphans I'll discover over the next few years in the cellar. Don't put the daily drinkers on my (as the mity KC said great inventory program) list so they get lost easily. Love this bottling. WW

Pulled one last night and REALLY, REALLY nice. Has evolved showing some deep, rich cherry flavors with a hint of mocha. What's WW's saying? Oh yea....wish I'd bought more..

Funny, I had pulled one of these too last night......maybe it was a mental link or something. I agree, evolving nicely for a $15 bottle. Less brash, smoother around the shoulders, and for me a bit more delineation in the flavours as they start to soften and you can see behind the wine a bit. I't got 4 left. Now this is getting strange! Noticed the 815 was low on the shelf so just put up another case of the 05.
