1991, 1992, and 1994 Ridge Monte Bello, all from 375's mL , and I think the format had to do with the shape of the wines. all were mature, all showing tertiary notes, but the one common theme, TANNIC and GREAT GRIP....geez..... Nicely done but I wish they were not so advanced.

2007 Ridge Monte Bello: more lush and fruity of course but showig the great focus and grip of the vintage. I'm looking forward to this one in a few years. It is furry and needs time.

Fav was the 1992.

You sure have been busy tasting, Mike. What was the occasion and how did you come across all the library of Cabernets?

Thot maybe the 92 was included in my comprehensive tasting of that fab vintage but think we skipped the"Rs'" to get to the more profusely abundant Ss'. Have looked at some of my old tasting notes but can't find hide nor hair. As the memorys' the 2nd thing to go I only have vague sketches of one of my favorite vineyards effort in that stellar year. Tankee fer the glimpse and you have been a busy Eng fer sure. WW

Ridge was releasing its 2007 so they brought our a few interesting wines (that I did not take notes on) and then a vertical of these Good timing I guess..
