I'm becoming a big fan of this winery. They buy the grapes on the open market and their Pinot is becoming well known as a value buy of excellent quality.

My wife and I happened to be at an eatery that had a rather modest wine list and we were looking for a nice inexpensive red to go with my NY Strip and her Pork Tenderloin. This fit the bill at 25.00 per bottle ($10 at your local wine shoppe), and I must say I was very impressed by this offering.

Tobacco and Chocolate on the nose...very pronounced dark cherry on the palate. Nice rounded finish, very agreeable and palatable. I'd give this on a very strong 88...and an even stronger QPR.

I'm off to my local wine store to see if I can get 3-4 bottles, and maybe I'll try their Zin too....

Pick up a bottle if you get a chance...

Very true...reported on it back in November. Nice wine for the bucks.
