Clear, deep ruby. Knowing Dans' style, I decanted it, poured a glassand waited at least 10-15 seconds before stickin'the ole' schnozz into the Vinium. Strange smell! Then realized the only nose I was getting was from the citrus blossoms in my back yard. Finally 30 minutes later, started picking up brite red fruit, a scoch of vanilla and a pinch of spice. Finally opened up 1-1/2 hours later. This will develop into a big version of the Napa botling....Lots of forward fruit, plenty of stuffing,a weighty center palate and a long finish. Tannins shut it down after about 20 seconds on the finish. I'm leaving this sucker alone for anoter 2-4. WW ( Probably a 90/92 later. 32 by the case )
