I liked this wine quite a bit. I've never stopped at Heitz before and after reading WW notes, throught that I've been missing a good thing.

Full on wine. Great density of dark fruits all through the wnee, long finish and nice combination of complexity and tannins at end. No where near peak but so enjoyable now. Nice balance.

Can be counted on to be one of the 5 best regular Napa bottlings in every vintage. WW

Heitz stuff sounds nice. I've looked back for price range and found postings from $60 on a Trailside and 19 (years ago) on I think a '96 Napa. What kind of price range would one expect to find on an '02 Napa today, (provided its commonly available at retails)? WP

Paid 36 by the box here in Phoenix a year ago. WW
