Seems like I have posted on this before, but I cannot find it. I cork one every four to six months thinking that, at some point, I am going to find it peaking. This wine is still not close.

Bright ruby red cherries, plums, chocolate finish with sturdy tannins and structure. My gut tells me it has another 2 to 3 before it peaks. This wine has a wonderful, velvety texture in the mouth. I really love this juice. Never fails to impress and is an incredible bargain. Need to try the 01's to see how they are doing.

I only have four left of the case and a half that I bought. I need to keep my paws off of them for another year or so.

just had one of the '01s tonight. lots of fruit, good acidity and fading tannins. very tasty, but came off rather simple. have three bottles of this vintage left, and i'll probably wait another two years at least to try the next one, as this seems to have lost its youthful charm, so i'll wait for it to mature.
