Tom must work his best when under duress. This is one of the 3 best 98s I've had so far. Loads of deep cherry, cassis, white pepper and bakers chocolate. Great clear ruby. Palate impression reminds of an older version with a smooth entry, weighty center and a 4 lapper finish. Loads of rounded tannins make this sucker a nice candidate to put on some lovely wrinkles over the next 5 to 7. WW
