Took these to lunch yesterday with BRW and will definately reiterate that the Larkmead is one of the 5 best wines I've had in over a year. Massive amount going on in the nose with flowers, sweet fruit, and lush spices. All hit the palate and coat the entire mouth. Silky entry, weighty center and..........TADA!!!! the legendary 5 lapper finish. 95+/95. 40 by the box.14.1% alc. The Cakebreak wasn't exactly chopped liver but 'twere hard to concentrate after the Larkster. Still by itself I'd put the Cake at a solid 90/90 WW

at the expense of being banished from our thursday afternoon lunch for not posting, I will add to ww's notes. This wine imho would be in the top 2 for the year. Everything you would ever want in a wine from start to finish, this beauty had it. Like velvet! I scored it 96/96.In addition we both scored from our local pusher BV tapestry reserve "04" for 27.99 per bottle.A good day was had by all.
