- Georgie - 03-16-2003 Well, tomorrow is the wearin' of the green and the eatin' of the corned beef and cabbage. On posts from 2001 I found California Old Vine Red, Lot Number Twenty Six, Marietta Cellars listed as a suggestion as a have with. Would that still apply? Any other suggestions? We're not really beer drinkers,(and of course, 80 year old Aunt Fran will only drink Scotch!) - Innkeeper - 03-16-2003 That would be fine except they are now up to Lot #30. Whatever lot you fine would go fine. - Georgie - 03-16-2003 Thanks IK. Somehow I knew you'd be up early on a Sunday! - Nguigmi - 03-16-2003 I was surfing the internet the other day and came upon this great site: http://www.tablewine.com/feature.htm Incidentally, their feature of the month is what wines might go with a St Patricks dinner. Luckily I already have two of their selections in stock! (Cuvee les Amours and Cline Zinfandel). Enjoy, Nguigmi [This message has been edited by Nguigmi (edited 03-16-2003).] - Georgie - 03-16-2003 Thanks Nguigmi! That IS a great site! Good article! I love the reviews as well as the pictured labels. Glad you were up early, too! |
