- TheEngineer - 03-09-2007 Very dark in color (I was told that this was due to the Petite Verdot). Nice enough nose of dark fruits, berries, plums, a bit spicy and oak. In the mouth, it is of the same with a nice acidity (less thick than it would appear), hint of austerity in midpalate and nice acidity. I liked this one too - winoweenie - 03-09-2007 Haven't tried this edition since tasting it and buying it on release. Will make a mental note to pull one in the near future. As can be seen from my notes this is one of my favorite producers in Napa. WW - Glass_A_Day - 03-16-2007 My favorite of the Viader bottles by FAR. Excellent every vintage that I have tasted. |
